John Landon, entrepreneur-turned-corporate-CEO, enjoyed almost three decades of related experience, including nine years of leadership at a large national and public homebuilder, prior to founding the Landon companies.  In 2006, Landon began the development company that carries his name with a goal of creating classic communities that would stand the test of time in the North Texas area. Seeking out only prime locations in predicted growth corridors, Landon executed his strategy across Denton and Collin Counties, developing neighborhoods that offered proximity to employment and entertainment, located within excellent school districts and including amenity features on site to create a convenient and comfortable lifestyle for residents.  Shortly thereafter Landon founded Landon Homes, with a vision of building a “better home by design” using construction techniques normally found only in one-of-a-kind custom homes.  Today Landon Homes is one of the largest luxury builders in the DFW Metroplex, known for offering homes with great architectural flair, functional design and solid value, located in many of the area’s most desirable communities.
